I've had some people wanting to customize my invitations and postage, but finding the process a bit difficult.  So I have created some visual screen shots with easy directions to customizing your products.
Today I will show you  how to select the text editor to edit the text, change the font,  change the color of the text, match the color of the text to your exact color choice - all easily!

clicking on each of the images will pop them  up really large so you can read it then close that pop up and continue with the instructions.

editing the text on a product

      Picture
If the product is a template you usually just have to go to the right side of the product page.
      1.PERSONALIZE IT
There you can change the text right on the product page.
Simply type in the white fields and you will instantly see your new text show on the product. If you are satisfied with the new text you can then order right away.
This method works if you like the font style and color and your text is approximately the same length as the sample text.

If you wish to change the font, or color or placement: you need to go one step further to CUSTOMIZE.

      2. CUSTOMIZE IT

      Picture
      Step A
Clicking on the Orange Customize button takes you to a new screen where you can make more changes.

      Step B
Click on the text line you wish to edit. On the right you can select "change text" and a pop up will show with the original text in it.

      Step C
Erase the old text for safety. Then type in your text and save by clicking on orange OK.

      changing the font

      Step D
You will need to change the font on each section of text in your product separately. Again highlight the text box as in Step B then click on the letter "f" beside the  the number box.

      Picture
      Step E
A box Choose your font will pop up.
The present font will be highlighted by an orange box.
Scroll down and select any font. It will preview in the product on the left. When you like the font click on that font and it will now be the new font when you click on the orange bar that says "Close". Choosing a new font sometimes affects the size and placement so in the same editor box as Step B you can change the size by changing the number in the box next to the "f".

Hopefully you can make your new font fit in the existing design, but if not you can click and drag directly on the design to move it around or use the four arrow directional pad.
Or call me and I'll do it all for you!!!!

      getting the color you want

      Picture
Just highlight the text as in Step B on the customize editor and the color selected shows up as a small square, click on that square and the whole color palette will show up like in the pic below.

      Picture
You can click on any of the preset colors and see an immediate preview on the product or you can get the exact color you are looking for.
Did you know that if you know the hex # of your color (you can get it from your invitation provider but make sure it's the hex number not a Pantone or other numbering system), you can match the color exactly on the product's text, background or frame if there is one.

In the lower right corner there's a white box that says hex# and some letters or numbers ( black is #000000) that's where you enter your number and even if it shows up differently on your computer screen - all computers have slightly different display colors- it will match the printed color of your invite..
Exiting this pop up will choose the last color you selected by either method.
